A moist, slightly grainy textured ground almond cake, balanced by the refreshing flavor of tangy Mediterranean lemons, diced lemon peel and a sweet homemade fresh lemon syrup, (with toasted almond flakes strewn on the whole cake). Great to enjoy as a dessert - delicious with thick cream.  Highly commended in the Free From Food Awards.
